Rewrite the Script

I'm sure we have had moments in life where we regretted one or more decisions that felt like there was no coming back from. How could I possibly overcome this situation? How can I face the people I have hurt, or that have hurt me? What's the point in trying to fix things if everyone thinks I am a failure? It feels

like you are at rock bottom, hopeless, with nowhere to turn. It feels like you have to climb a mountain just to overcome one thing with a million other things still trying to pull you down. Running away and hiding seems easier than facing the shame and guilt that life is causing you.

I may not know everything that you are going through or have all the answers, but I know the One who does, and He can make all things new. God wants to rewrite your story and become the Narrator. Think of it this way: You wrote a book. A producer comes to you and says he wants to make your book into a movie. The producer would have to buy the license to produce the book into a movie, that way it would give him the rights to change and write the script to make the book into his masterpiece. Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, His blood has paid the price for us, He’s purchased the license and right. Redemption means to buy back. Jesus has paid the price; with God He can always rewrite the script. Our story isn't over. Hebrews 12 is a wonderful reminder for us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

That's great news because you can take all the uneasy and unwanted feelings from this world, and turn them into purpose. Just like our thumb print is uniquely designed, so is our spiritual walk. We each go through things that may be similar, but also uniquely ours. The things we have gone, and will go through, shape us into who we are, and refine us into who we are meant to be. God wants to show us that even though we live in this fallen and broken world, He still gives meaning to this life. Meaning-FULL: He brings so much meaning, it makes you feel full.
